Brief Bio
Philippe Desfray is involved since 17 years in model driven development research, standardization, and tooling. Co-founder of the SOFTEAM company (650 people in 2013), he has been precursor to OO Modeling (inventor of the Class Relation OO model, 1990, supported already at that time by a case tool), to MDA (1994, Addison Welsey book on the matter, dedicated tool), one of the main contributor in the UML standardization team at the OMG since the origin, and contributing to many modeling language standardization eforts (BPMN, SOA,..). Philippe serves as VP for R&D at SOFTEAM, is one key expert in the modeling and me thodology fields, is driving international R&D projects and leading the Modelio UML/MDA case tool development team (www.modeliosoft.com; www.modelio.org). ... Brief Bio
Joaquim B L Filipe is currently a Coordinator Professor of the School of Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (EST-Setúbal), Portugal. He got his PhD at the School of Computing of Staffordshire University, U.K, in 2000.
His main areas of research involve Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Agent System theory and applications to different domains, with an emphasis on social issues in activity coordination, especially in organizational modelling and simulation, where he has been actively involved in several R&D projects, including national and international programs. He represented EST-Setúbal in
several European projects.
He has over 200 publications, including papers in conferences and journals, edited books, and conference proceedings. He started several conference series, sponsored by INSTICC and technically co-sponsored or in cooperation with major International Associations.
He took part in over 100 conference and workshop program committees and he is on the editorial board of a Springer book series.

Brief Bio
Slimane Hammoudi is Professor at ESEO in Angers-France, a graduate school of engineering in electronics, computing, networking and telecommunications. Since 2003 his research interests have been in the main area of Model Driven Engineering with the focus on two application domains: Web Services and Context-Awareness. Since 2005, he has served as a co-chair of a workshop on Model Driven Development (MDEIS and FTMDD), a satellite workshop of ICEIS, international conference on enterprise information systems.

Brief Bio
Luís Ferreira Pires was born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1961. He obtained his B.Sc. degree in Electronics from the 'Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica' (São José dos Campos, Brazil) in 1983 and, his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the 'Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo' (São Paulo, Brazil), in the Computer Networks specialisation, in 1989. He obtained his PhD degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Twente, Enschede, the Netherlands, in September 1994.
Since 1988 he is working at the University of Twente (Enschede, The Netherlands), initially as researc
h fellow of the Faculty of Computer Science, from 1992 to 1994 as Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and since 1994 as Associate Professor of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science. He is currently also Programme Director of the Business & IT Bachelor and Master Education Programmes of the University of Twente. He is a member of the Services, Cyber-security and Safety (SCS) group. His professional interests are design methodologies for distributed systems, architecture of distributed systems, modelling and specification techniques, middleware platforms and telematics applications.
